In January, Autobahn, a leading supplier of automotive window film, paint protection film (PPF), and ceramic coatings, launched a new Dealer and Distribution Network in Australia. Premier Film Distribution (PFD) orchestrated successful launch events in both Sydney and the Gold Coast, marking a significant milestone for Autobahn’s global expansion efforts.
A New Partnership
PFD General Manager Boyd Hunter; PFD Group Managing Director Greg Munro; PFD Account Manager Sarah Murdocca; and Aaron Brown of PFD warmly embraced Autobahn’s team members, establishing business connections that transcend international borders.
“The trip was all thanks to our hosts,” shares George ‘El Chingon’ Nevarez, Training Coordinator at Autobahn. “They showed us Australian hospitality, and we felt it. Boyd invited us into his home and cooked for us. I want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart.”
Tony Kiger, Territory Manager and Trainer at Autobahn; Brodie Mathews, Territory Manager at Autobahn; and Chris Collier, Director of Communications at Autobahn were also present for the launch events.
“Everyone accepted us,” shares Kiger. “We made the trip to show long-term support. Whether you need assistance with new products, technical support, or training, we’re here to help.”
The Product Lineup
“This partnership will change the industry in Australia as a whole,” shares Mathews. “It will push others to increase their quality and support.”
During the 10-day journey, Autobahn’s team showcased their diverse range of products at Steve’s Auto Group in Sydney.
Kiger and Mathews bulk-installed Autobahn Stärke Matte PPF on a 2018 Mercedes-AMG GT R. One bay over, Nevarez; Alexis Figueroa (‘El Magic’), Owner of Magic Shade Window Tinting and Detailing in Fort Worth, Texas; Damian Whitehead, Owner of Dr. Tint in Melbourne, Australia; Richard Charquero, Owner of Kustom Window Tinting in Melbourne, Australia; and ByeongYeol Park, Owner of Korea-Tinter in Gwangju, South Korea, tinted a Tesla Model 3 with Autobahn Ceramic i3 Window Film.
Autobahn Stärke Matte PPF and Autobahn Ceramic i3 Window Film are just two of the many products available through the new Dealer Network.
Kiger says that Autobahn Ceramic i3 Window Film and Autobahn Incognito PPF garnered significant attention from numerous industry professionals at both launch events.
“Our warranty was a topic of conversation, too,” Mathews adds. “We offer the same warranty in Australia that we do in the United States.”
Autobahn’s products are sold with a limited lifetime warranty backed by the film manufacturer against discoloration, cracking or crazing, blistering, bubbling, peeling, demetalizing and delamination when installed by an authorized Autobahn Dealer. Click here to learn more.
“Autobahn offers the same product lineup in Australia as it does in the U.S.,” Kiger shares. “This ensures consistency across both regions, allowing us to address any potential issues in Australia just as effectively as we do in the U.S.”
