Jason Teasley, Owner of Tint Pro and Accessories in Lowell, Arkansas, placed first in the Automotive Tint-Off™ Competition at the 2024 International Window Film Conference & Tint-Off (WFCT). 2024’s showdown at The Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, marks Teasley’s 5th Tint-Off™.
Teasley placed second at WFCT 2021 in Orlando, Florida, and first at WFCT 2022 in San Antonio, Texas.
“This marks my retirement from industry competitions,” shared Teasley, an Autobahn Dealer. “This was it. Me and my wife prayed about it. My retirement will give her more enjoyment on these vacations; I won’t be strictly focused on competing. Off to the next journey.”
The audience at WFCT 2024’s Closing Party and Awards Ceremony erupted in applause and cheers as soon as Teasley was announced as the champion.
“You can never anticipate first, second, or third,” he shared, holding his new hardware after the ceremony. “But I felt better about my performance this year, than I did at any of the past competitions.”
With his win, Teasley received $20,000 in prize money. But for him, it’s not about the dollar signs.
“It’s more about getting the trophy,” he said with a big smile. “It’s about achieving the personal goal of winning, putting your skills to the test.”
At 47 years old, Teasley has spent more than half of his life tinting windows.
“I never thought I’d be tinting windows for a career,” the 25-year industry veteran shared. “It was a hobby at first.”
Teasley says his wife, Billie, has been instrumental in his career. Reflecting on his competition career—and his upcoming retirement from the showdowns—Teasley encourages the next wave to window tinters to keep pushing for their goals.
“Do you, keep God first, and outdo what you did last time,” Teasley shares. “Don’t worry about anything else.”
