Jared Guynes, Co-Founder of Advertising Agency J2 Consulting, will share his insight and experiences at Autobahn, Huper Optik, and Edge’s 2024 Dealer Conference. The gathering will take place at LeMay – America’s Car Museum in Tacoma, Wash., from March 4-6, 2024.
Organic Content Creation
“I will talk about organic content creation,” shares Guynes, who will delve into various marketing and advertising topics during the conference. “What stories are unfolding in your shop? How can you document, package, and distribute those stories in a way that helps drive more business opportunities and sales? It doesn’t have to do with spending money. It has to do with utilizing something as simple as the phone in your pocket or the camera on your shelf.”
Guynes and his partner, Jessica Sapp, are the driving forces behind J2 Consulting, an advertising agency that stands out for its specialization in serving the window film industry. More than 50% of the duo’s clients work in the window film industry.
Guynes and Sapp actively engage with the industry by participating in events such as the International Window Film Conference & Tint-Off (WFCT), where they not only deepen relationships with existing clients but also establish valuable connections with potential new partners.
Guynes emphasizes the significance of crafting content that centers around individuals, no matter the industry.
“Humans want to see other humans,” Guynes says. “We call this philosophy the humanization of content. The foundational belief is that if you include a person in video content, the people watching it are more easily able to connect and engage with that content.”
Beyond the Boost Button
“I will also delve into paid-ad strategy,” Guynes says. “How can businesses use money to help drive more opportunities and sales? Those discussions encompass both Meta and Google platforms. We will share tips and strategic considerations. Even individuals operating on a modest budget can achieve superior results from a paid promotion compared to merely utilizing the ‘boost’ button.”
Guynes and Sapp share that there is a whole new world beyond the boost button.
“Even if you can grasp 5% of that world, you will be in a much better position as a business owner,” Guynes adds. “We want to help shop owners know what they can do for free, but also share examples of what successful shops in our industry have been able to do with different amounts of money.”
Providing Value
“My goal is to provide attendees with comprehensive value,” Guynes says. “Attendees will be able to walk away—with no purchases necessary—and feel like the trip was worth their time. I believe in helping people.”
