RUPES, a leading brand of professional car detailing technology and innovation, has announced the all-new BigFoot iBrid polisher.

Polishing Forward

“Innovation, technology, and design have been the cornerstones of what RUPES has stood for since 1947,” says Christopher Wright, Southwest Area Sales Manager at RUPES USA. “With a long history of innovation in power tool manufacturing, including the launch of the original BigFoot ‘large throw’ random orbital polishers in 2010, we couldn’t be more excited about our latest creation. It’s what everyone has been waiting for.”

Combining cordless and corded capabilities, the RUPES BigFoot iBrid polisher is available in both a 15mm (HLR15) and 21mm (HLR21) orbit. Featuring iBrid technology, users can now choose to power the tool with either a corded power supply or with a powerful 18V battery.

And with an all-new brushless motor, PolyFiber gear set, ultra-thin PrecisionPro backing plate, eccentric set, and LED status indicator, detailers can experience performance, ergonomic design, and adaptability.

“What’s special about the HLR15 and HLR21 is that they’re brand-new designs from the ground up, not just an older model with a battery stuck onto it,” adds Wright, who recently co-hosted a paint correction training with Autobahn in Puerto Rico. “These polishers are lighter and more powerful than their previous corded counterparts. Corded tools typically have more torque and power but not the case here. There’s a new composite gear set that is much quieter and sounds like no other polisher on the market.”

Wright adds, “We believe this will set the new standard for full-size cordless polishers.”

RUPES will showcase the BigFoot iBrid polisher at the 2023 SEMA Show at Booth #52171 in West Hall.

A Powerful Partnership

“We are committed to providing our network of dealers with a comprehensive line of detailing products that are specifically designed to help them get the job done right,” shared David Kratz, CEO of Autobahn and Edge, distributors for RUPES. “With the right polisher and pads in hand, the highest level of detailing performance is within reach.”

Tony Kiger, Territory Manager and Trainer at Autobahn and Edge, has 18 years of experience with paint correction.

“Paint correction truly stands out in the eyes of everyone,” Kiger shares. “Adding that depth, gloss, and clarity brings a smile to those that admire a glistening vehicle, whether it be new or used. RUPES has the answer for perfecting the finish.”
