“I wanted to create something that would represent and highlight the installers themselves,” says 26-year industry veteran Jason Omoletski, Founder of Tint’er Brand. “There are all sorts of film suppliers and tool companies. I wanted to highlight individuals, not necessarily companies.”
For the People
Omoletski founded industry merchandise provider Tint’er Brand in 2018.
“I just got off the phone with a dealer, and I’m in the middle of making a custom shirt for another tint shop,” he shared mid-design. “I stay up late throughout the week. I constantly work on the brand.”
Tint’er Brand offers custom shirts, banners, dash towels, thermoses, stickers and decals, car mats, and more. Omoletski receives three to four custom shirt orders a day, on average.
“My favorite part is seeing people post and share pictures of them wearing the shirts,” Omoletski says. “They’re wearing them proudly because it represents them and their company. I didn’t think it would take off like it has.”
From 2020 to 2023, the company’s sales have tripled.
“The turning point was being able to do fully-customized shirts for anyone out there,” says Omoletski, who joined Autobahn, Huper Optik, and Edge as a Territory Manager in July 2022. “There weren’t limitations to what people could put on the shirts.”
Behind the Brand
Behind the Tint’er Brand is a trademarked term representing installers in the film industry.
Tint’er (Noun.) – “A slightly twisted individual; guaranteed to take you to the darker side.”
Tint’er Tuesday LIVE!
When Omoletski isn’t designing customized clothing for industry peers, he’s taking his talents live. Each Tuesday at 7 p.m. Mountain Time (MT), he hosts the Tint’er Tuesday LIVE! Show on YouTube. He started the show on Instagram in 2017.
“I was in my garage, and I went live,” Omoletski says of the previously-untitled podcast. “I wanted to see what would happen. I talked about window tint with some of my followers for 45 minutes. Everybody said, ‘You should do this again.’”
Omoletski streamed again, again, and again. Over the course of six years, he’s hosted more than 200 live shows. Omoletski’s mother, Linda, encouraged her son to tie Tint’er Brand into the show’s title and theme.
The show has featured highly-respected guests such as Brodie Mathews, Brandon ‘Hoss’ Evans, Matt Blackmer, and David Kratz.
“It’s a laid-back show,” Omoletski says. “There’s no script or filter. The show is catered to the guests. It highlights the guests and their stories, struggles, and successes. It’s focused on what’s going on in their lives.”
Unity Above All
Nearly three decades in, Omoletski has experienced all that the industry has to offer.
“I want people to remember the jokes and the laughter,” Omoletski says of his industry impact. “This is a fun environment where we can all get along.”
