Autobahn’s Glass Failure Warranty provides end consumers with unmatched peace of mind. The warranty covers damage caused by manufacturer defects, thermal fluctuations, stress fractures, and nickel sulfide inclusions.
However, exclusions apply. The warranty does not cover damage from physical impacts (such as accidents, vandalism, or theft), natural disasters (such as hail, flooding, or earthquakes), improper installation, or negligence. Additional exclusions include damage from neglect and improper maintenance.
The Glass Failure Warranty provides up to $1,000 in coverage for the lifetime of the vehicle, which includes all claims combined. To file a claim, customers must notify Autobahn Window Films or the installing dealer within 30 days of discovering the damage. Customers are required to provide photos of the damaged glass, a letter from the glass manufacturer, and a repair estimate from a qualified repair company.
Payments are made directly to the qualified glass repair company, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free process for the customer. Autobahn does not reimburse customers directly. Additionally, claims must be filed after seeking recovery from the glass manufacturer or insurance provider.
